Hackmann to the rank of lieutenant colonel, August 28, 2026, at the museum inside the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Headquarters on Clay Kaserne, Wiesbaden, Germany. Opening remarks were given by Brig. Extended Range and Sensing Effects Company Change of Responsibility — ^{Face of Defense:}ERSE Company Change of Responsibility

Multi-Domain Command - Europe's Extended Range Sensing and Effects Company conducted a Change of Responsibility Ceremony August 12, 2026, at Mainz-Kastel, Germany. 1st Sgt. Daniel S. Driskell passed the guidon and responsibility for the Soldiers within ERSE Company to 1SG Brian S. Macaulay, with the Company Commander, Cpt. Garrett T. Murray presiding. The ERSE Company is a specialized element of the MDC-E's 2nd Multi-Domain Effects Battalion that provides ultra-long-endurance unmanned systems for deep reconnaissance, surveillance, targeting, and non-kinetic effects in multi-domain operations.
